FIRST EVER GOWN GAME - FREE

The Gown has given its readers many things, news, posters, calendars, jokes, infectious diseases, and bedtime reading (if you know what I mean!) But in a bid to take a sizeable chunk of the market from Sony, and Nintendo, The Gown has released 'Stormont Invaders', a game guaranteed* to have you sitting on the edge of your seat...

- You are Ian 'Champion of Democracy' Paisley in the ongoing battle against a devolved government.
- Avoid the fenian forces of Gerry and his Shamrocks of Death.
- Earn extra lives by destroying the waves of rebel fighters.
- There can only be one winner. NO SURRENDER!**

* Note, this is not guaranteed.
** Unless of course you're offered a fat salary and a ministerial car

To play 'Stormont Invaders':

- Direction button left..........move left
- Direction button right........move right
- Space Bar........................shoot

Rules:

- Earn 5000 points and get an extra 'Orangeman life'
-'They haven't gone away ya know'; every time you clear a screen Gerry comes back faster and spewing more shamrocks than ever.
- Paisley's weapon - the 'Hun-Gun' - fires multiple bursts of 'NO SURRENDER!!!' in an effort to prevent Gerry's Stormont entry. If this happens opposition melts and there may be the possibility of political progress.

      The DUP are of course a pro-devolution party, but let's not be pedantic. I used to love Space Invaders! And pac-man too.

      I used to have pac-man 3D for the Acorn Archimedes, where you could jump over the ghosts to get away.

      Pac-Mania was a similar 3D one with jumping on the Commodore Amiga (and possibly Sega Mega Drive). Oh for the old days...
